Disney Villains - Black Friday Event - LET'S RIDE!!!

Welcome to the Disney Villains Black Friday Blog Hop.

Now if you are here from Michelle then you're in the right place, if not then you may want to start at the beginning.   Don't worry if you get lost, I have the entire blog line up below this post. Now on to my Project...  I choose the Evil Pixar Grasshopper.....HOPPER from A Bug's Life. I can't deny it... I LOVE Hopper.  My son Colin adores him ...I don't know why, he just does.  He thinks his "Let's Ride" is hysterical, and "You ants have a nice summer" makes him laugh out loud.  Kids....  So this was made lovingly for my sweet boy, Colin.....

Hopper is the leader of the Grasshoppers in the Disney Pixar movie, A Bug's Life.  Its never really said why he hates ants so much.  He just thinks they are below him...and he has no sympathy for them at all.  He is a control freak I think.  He likes to have the power and rule over the other ants AND grasshoppers!

I took the Hopper file and simply attached him to a standard treat box that I have made.  I LOVE how he came out, so many layers.. ALL one color paper, but I inked the edges in several inks to achieve depth and dimension.  I really like that effect of the layers. I also took my white and black gel pens to outline and highlight. I used the NEW Villain Stamp sets from Jaded Blossom...and put them on the super cool Mini Tag Dies and Candy Charms and Banner Dies.  I filled the small treat box with Rolos and Kisses with more of the new Villain Candy stamps!
Oh one last bit of Hopper trivia?  He is the first Pixar Villain to die! Next up on the Hop is sweet Crystal.   But before you go here are some information on Jaded Blossom and SVG Cutting Files Black Friday Sales.

Christmas Tea Light Ornaments

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share some new files coming out on Friday.

I made some adorable Tea light Ornaments. I used the battery operated tea lights from Dollar Tree to make these. The faces slide right over the flame.

Anything Goes!

Hey All!!

Today is my last post as a guest designer with SVG Cutting Files :( I am SOOO bummed! I had SUCH a great time playing with Anne's files! They are SOOO easy and ALWAYS SO STINKING CUTE!!

As I was thinking of what I was gonna make today, I was thinking of when I was first introduced to her files...I remember, it was Candace from Jaded Blossom who introduced me to her files! I saw the Holiday Files from Anne on her blog! I remember thinking how COOL it was that Anne was giving away FREE files!! I mean, seriously, it was 12 DAYS OF FREE FILES! I remember signing in every day to see what was new! I was so excited and I became a customer at that very time!! 

Flash forward to today! Anne has made so many AMAZING files, but, for my project today, I wanted to make a tribute to her and make my project based on how I first met her!!

Hey everyone, it's Jaymie here and I wanted to share a cute Christmas treat bag I made using two NEW files that are being released tomorrow!

Isn't she sassy?!  I love this new file called Jordan by SVG Cutting Files.  The face I used was from the Peachy Keen "Laughy Taffy" set.  The bag is also a NEW file being released tomorrow called Scallop Handled Bag and you can get it HERE.

The flag shape is a die from Jaded Blossom's NEW die set Mini Tag Dies and the sentiment is from their Winter Wishes set.

Hi everyone, this is Gwen from This and That by Gwen with a brand new cut file to share with you today, you are going to love it!

Look at her hair!!  Isn't it just awesome!  I love this little doll!  She is brand new and will be in the SVG Cutting Files store this Friday.  Her name is Farrah, so appropriate don't you think?  I cut her at 4" and added stickles to the white and liquid pearls for the berries on her shoes.

I got the container from Michaels clearance awhile ago thinking I would use it for something.  It has windows on both sides of the box.  There is no candy in there, because if I buy it before I give it away I eat it and have to buy it again!!

Good Morning- Melissa here with a new cutting file.  I got to create with a file called " Kellie Ann" and she will be in the store on Friday.  She is all decked out for a party. I cut her out with my Cameo and stamped her face with a Peachy Keen face stamp.  The card base is from SVG Cutting Files, Black Cat Card Kit. The kit contains a cat, card base with mats.  For this card, I cut two mats and tore one of them for the bottom section of the card.

Sock Monkey Mania-Nerdy Book Work!

I am a TOTAL Sock Monkey lover...especially when my absolutely adorable nephew's first birthday was themed around it...I began to LOVE that little monkey!
