Happy Fall!

Hey everyone, Happy Halloween!!!

Jaymie here, and today I wanted to share a Fall treat I made using the NEW Stitch Up Fall Leaf file that is being released TOMORROW!!

The leaf is a NEW file from SVG Cutting Files called the Stitch Up Fall Leaf and I used Orange Truffle from Trendy Twine to do all the stitching.  The cute little acorn is also from SVG Cutting Files, it is from the Harvest Handled Bag Set.  This set is great because not only can you create those super cute bags, but you can also use the layers to create many other things.  I used the Cornies from Peachy Keen for the face.

Everything Jaded Blossom:

Here is a close up of the topper

For the insert of the gusset bag, I masked off the acorn from the Thanksgiving Candies set to create a cute little border to match.  Here is a close up

I filled the bag with these cute little acorns that I made using Nutter Butter cookies, Hershey Kisses and semi-sweet chocolate chips.  I was inspired by a recipe I found on the Taste of Home website and you can find it HERE

Well I hope you have enjoyed my treat today, thanks for stopping by!

Let Us Give Thanks

Hello everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a project to share with you. I used the NEW Pilgrim Crows that will be released today! HOW cute are those guys?!?!

I started with cutting the Mickey Fry Box that was a freebie from SVG Cutting Files from a certain hop. I just didn't add the Mickey pieces, I only used the fry box. I cut the crows using the NEW Pilgrim Crows file and stamped their faces with a Peachy Keen Medium Critter face. I added a brown lunch sack inside the fry box and tied it with some twine. I hand cut the tag and stamped the sentiment using Peachy Keens 2013 October Stamp Of The Month set. To finish I added a raffia bow to the bag.

I hope you all liked my project and thanks for stopping in! Have a great day!

Fall Wheelbarrow

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share a sneak of a new file coming out on Friday!

How fun is this 3d Wheelbarrow?!  I added a cute little banner with a Jaded Blossom sentiment.

I cut the wheel and base with Papertrey Ink paper for thickness. For the base I cut it twice and glued them together. Then the wheel I cut 9 of them and glued them on top of each other and sanded around the edge. I definitely recommend attaching the wheel to the base before attaching it to the top.

I filled the wheelbarrow with some fun candies stamped kisses.

I filled my box with candies after I added some stamped images on the bottom using the  Jaded Blossom Birthday Candies , Patriotic Candies, and Thanksgiving Kisses stamp sets.
.
I love all the little details include with this file, the bear tracks, the bear, eagle, etc. I added some twigs from my yard and attached a little tag that says Give Thanks from the BugBites Autumn Splendor stamp set.

Festive Fall Tags- Prost!

Yup- still celebrating Oktoberfest! Barb with BugBites here back with another little project using the Oktoberfest cut file set .

If you saw my post a couple days ago, I mentioned an annual Oktoberfest party. Well, I was recently in Las Vegas for work and stopped by the Hofbrau House Restaurant there and picked up some german style napkins for the hostess.
Of course, I needed to add a little tag to for them and the SVG Cutting Files Oktoberfest files worked perfectly.
I used several different images from this set combined together for my little tags.I think they turned out rather cute!

I'll be back next week with a super fun fall project to share!

Have a creative day!

Prost!

Proust! Well, that means Cheers for all you non-German folks out there.

Hello everyone, my name is Barb from BugBites. and I am so excited to be here.
Today, marks the first post as a new Design Team member for SVG Cutting Files.

October is known for Oktoberfest and here in Central MN, a community with a strong German heritage, also celebrates Oktoberfest. At least among my friends. Our little Oktoberfest party has been going for well over 20 years.

As my first post as part of that team, what better fitting than a party poster for my Oktoberfest party friends.  Just as in Germany for any wine or beer festival, there is usually a poster created for the event.

I could hardly wait to design with these new Oktoberfest files that Ann created. They are in the store now!

I created my background using some leaves and checked digital paper. Then I just cut and pieced the rest. I used plenty of foam tape for dimension.

At the party, all guests in attendance sign the poster so we know who was there each year.

Here is a list of all the goodies I used on this project.

Oktoberfest boy, girl, pretzel, and banner from SVG Cutting Files.
Leaves for background from SVG Cutting Files.
Faces stamped with Peachy Keen Stamps
Twine from The Twinery
Digtial checked background paper from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.
A few stickles, gems, and a feather for the cap.

Have a creative day!

Witch and Cat Head Treat Box's

Hello everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have some exciting news to share! I am now a permanent designer for SVG Cutting Files and today is my first post! I am so excited and can't wait to show you some awesome projects using SVG Cutting Files SUPER FUN cut files!

For my post today I am sharing these fun treat box's. There are called Cat Head Treat Box and Witch Head Treat box and they are being released TODAY! These were SO easy to put together!

I cut the files out using my Cameo and dressed them up a bit. I gave each of them some google eyes. For the witch box I added some twine to the under side of her hat and trimmed it off for her bangs. I also added a bow to her hat with a brad center and embossed her hair with the Cuttlebug Tiny Bubbles folder.
The cat's head I embossed with the Cuttlebug Seeing Spots folder and added some stickles to the nose. I also gave her a twine bow with a brad center.
I stamped both sentiments onto banners using My Craft Spot's Best Witches To You stamp set and mounted them with pop dots.

I hope you all liked my projects and thanks for stopping in! Have a great weekend!
