Have A Hoppy Day!

Hello everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun project to share! This little guy is a new file in the store today called Tadpoles. Isn't he adorable?!?!?!

The base is cut from SVG Cutting Files Nugget Easel Drawer Box and the boy from the new Tadpoles file. I used a marker to make the lines on the fishing net and added the white eyes on the tadpoles in the bag with a white gel pen.
I stamped the sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Easter Treat 2 stamp set.....I thought this sentiment was perfect for frogs! Speaking of frogs, I decided to add Rolo candies to the box instead of Nuggets. This worked perfectly! It fit 9 Rolo's in the box and I made them into frogs. I did this by punching green circles and added the eyes that were stamped and cut from Jaded Blossom's Sprinkled With Love stamp set. They are from the heart candy stamps and I just cut around the eyes, glued them to the punched circles, and added chalk to the cheeks.

I hope you all liked my project and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Check Mate!

Happy Friday. Barb from BugBites here to reveal a brand new release file at SVG Cutting Files, Chess!
This set comes with several chess piece. I couldn't decide which to make for my project so I cut all of them and made a series of cards. I am warning you now, there are lots pf pictures in this post.

The base of each card is the Mini Notecard Bases set. I sized them to be 4" square.
I did a print and cut for the white mat and sentiment.

Each card has the common layers of card stock, white, red and black check so they all coordinate.

Then was the fun part, pairing up and deciding which game piece should be on which card.

Have a crafty Day!

The Mustache Collection

Hello, Mel here with sneak peeks of new files! This collection is all about the mustaches.  These projects would be great for gifts for the men in your life.

For all my projects today, I used the mustache paper collection from Me and My Big Ideas. First up is the Mustache Gable Box. Just slip the sides of the box over the mustache handle, and the box will un-lock. The file includes mats for all sides of the box, but I just used the front and back mats.

Next we have a favor box, Mustache Top Lock Box, with an interlocking mustache closure.

And lastly we have a Mustache Card. The front of the card is closed by an interlocking mustache.

This is what the card looks like open.

And if you are a Jaded Blossom fan like me,  you might have some mustache themed sentiment stamps that would go perfectly with these files. I found this sentiment on the Love Mustaches from Jaded Blossom.

These files will be at the store for purchase on Friday!

Thanks for stopping by today. Visit all week so see the new files for this Friday, April 18.

Bride and Groom

Hello everyone!
This is Tanya from Studio 5380 and I am very happy to announce that I am one of the newest members of the fabulous SVG Cutting Files Design Team!  I am so excited to be working with Ann and her talented line up of Designers and look I forward to sharing many projects created with Ann's wonderful cutting files with you all.

For my first project, I would like to share a wedding project I just finished up for a sweet young lady and her soon to be groom:

I used the super fun Car Back/Rear Shaped Card and the Present Slider Card files to create this sweet wedding set.

I came across these cute little soda pop cans in the miniatures section of my local craft store and thought they would add the perfect touch to the bride and groom's car.

I used a couple of stamp sets from Jaded Blossom on this set.  The Bride and Groom sentiment on the car tag is from the stamp set The Perfect Match.  The gift tag on my Present Slider Card is stamped with a sentiment from the Simple Sayings 3 stamp set.

I also used the Gift Card Die from Jaded Blossom for the inside of my Present Slider Card.  This made it super easy to add a gift card for the newlyweds.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed my sweet wedding gift set and I look forward to sharing another project with you soon.
