Happy Birthday

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I am sharing this fun treat box I made. I used the NEW Chunky Animal- Skunk for this project.

I started this project with the Handled Candy Carton Box, adding an extra decorative strip to the top of the box.

I cut the NEW Chunky Animal- Skunk file and matted him in black. I pop dotted him to the front. I also added flowers to the handle and front that I cut with the Jaded Blossom Spring Dies.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment to the handle of the box using the So Many Birthdays 2 stamp set.

Happy May Day!

Happy May Day! 

May Day is one of those days where you fill hand made baskets or boxes and leave them on friends and neighbors doorstep, ring the bell and run so they don't see you. 

Not sure how many people do this these days, but it was quite fun. 

Today is also design day over at SVG Cutting Files.

The month of May is going to be awesome as the design team rolls out some projects with new treat boxes in the SVG Cutting Files store this month. 

Being it's May Day, I did a little May day box using the first new treat box in the store today. It's called the Handled Carton Candy Box.

It folds up super cute and has the cute little handles for easy carrying. 

I embellished my box with flowers from Journal Tube Note Holder file set. The flowers are simple shapes, but perfect for my May Day box.
