School Pal Giraffe Cards

This cute little giraffe is from the new School Pal Giraffe cut file that will be in the store on Friday.  I just love this little guy he is so cute and super easy to put together.  I made a shaped card base with the base paper (orange) and sentiment being a print and cut and then  paper pieced the giraffe.  Make sure to pick this guy up on Friday here.

Penguin Kisses - Penguin Peppermint Barrow

Hi everyone! It's Brigit from Brigit's Scraps!

I'm lovin' this new adorable file Penguin Peppermint Barrow

which will be available in the store tomorrow!

It's so cute, I made a shaped card in SSDE from the back layer by using the offset and welding the two shapes together.  The file consists of the penguin, peppermints and wheelbarrow.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Merry & Bright set, it was totally perfect!!  The label is from their Mini Tag Dies.  The face stamp is a Peachy Keen Face Stamp and I added a touch of Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine.

I have a cute shaped card to share with you today.

I used this adorable Kangaroo Heart Pouch, which will be available in the store soon.
Making shaped cards is one of my favorite projects to create.
Children love to receive them, especially cute animals ones!

I knew when I first saw this kangaroo I wanted to make a bunch of hearts in his pouch with this sentiment.  I didn't have a stamp with this saying so I did a print and cut using the heart in the file.  I welded the kangaroo and heart together and created a shadow layer for the card base.  I duplicated more hearts in different sizes to fill his pouch.  Cut the pouch from vellum so you could see all the hearts inside.  Really a simple project with an adorable file!!

Pumpkin Patch Cutie

Today is my first day posting here as a DT member.
The kit I used today is the Pumpkin Patch Cutie set.

This little pumpkin was a perfect file for a a Shaped card. I really like how it turned out.

Not only was this image perfect for a shaped card it was for this next card as well. Gigi from The Cricut Bug, made this card and then a few days later wrote a tutorial. Thank you Gigi. The moment you posted your card I knew I had this image and that it would be perfect.
